Our Workmanship Warranty
Every SQFT job comes with a written warranty on our workmanship, not a verbal promise. Your price is locked before we start, and if something we did isn't right, we come back and fix it at no extra labour cost.
What's Covered
Warranty length depends on the trade, since not every job type carries the same kind of long-term risk:
- Drywall Installation & Finishing — 2-year written warranty against cracking, seam failure or nail pops caused by our workmanship.
- Painting & Patching — 2-year written warranty against peeling, blistering or poor adhesion caused by our workmanship.
- Flooring Installation — 1-year written warranty on our installation labour. Flooring materials carry their own manufacturer warranty; we'll pass on the details with your quote.
- Demolition & Removal — demolition is a one-time removal service, so it isn't covered by a workmanship warranty. Every demolition job is still backed by our promise to protect the rest of your home, remove debris completely and leave the site clean.
What's Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear after the job is complete
- Damage caused by other trades, movers or occupants after we've finished
- Structural movement, settling or moisture problems unrelated to our work
- Materials you supplied yourself — the manufacturer's warranty applies instead
How to Make a Claim
Call or email us and describe the issue — a photo helps. We'll schedule a walkthrough, confirm it's covered, and repair it at no extra labour cost within the warranty period. No claim forms and no third party to deal with: you're dealing with the company that did the work.

SQFT carries $2,000,000 in liability insurance and WSIB coverage for the crew working on your property. Every job is done by our own crew rather than passed along to another contractor, so there is only ever one company answerable for the work.
