Our Story
Why SQFT Exists
Homeowners here don't struggle to find a trade. They struggle to find one that finishes. The demolition gets done, then the drywaller is two weeks out, the painter says the seams weren't sanded properly, and the floor goes down a month later on top of all of it.
SQFT was built around that gap. We took the four trades that always run back to back at the end of a renovation — demolition, drywall, painting, flooring — and put them under one quote, one schedule and one crew. When the same people own every stage, each stage becomes preparation for the next: we strip a subfloor knowing we're the ones levelling it, and we sand drywall knowing we're the ones painting over it.

How The Work Gets Done
Your job is handled by our own crew rather than passed along to whoever happens to be free that week. The same people are there from the first wall coming down to the last transition strip going in — which is why nothing on site ever gets blamed on the stage before it.
And we work to standards you can check instead of adjectives you can't. A Level 4 drywall finish as standard, Level 5 where raking light would show every seam. Two full coats of Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams over primed, sanded surfaces. Subfloors levelled before a single plank goes down. Six-plus years of hands-on finishing work sits behind those calls.

How Your Renovation Works
Step 1: Call or send photos
Tell us what you want done, from one room to a whole floor. A few photos or a quick video are enough to get started.
Step 2: Site visit & written quote
We measure, check the walls and subfloor, and agree the finish level. Then one fixed price covering labour, materials and disposal, in writing within 24 hours.
Step 3: We deliver and get to work
Materials arrive, floors and furniture get covered, dust gets contained. Then the trades run back to back: demo, drywall, paint, floors.
Step 4: Walkthrough & sign-off
We walk the job with you in daylight, fix anything on your list, and leave the space swept and clear.
