Terms of Service

SQFT Contracting provides interior painting, drywall, flooring, and demolition services across the Greater Toronto Area. The exact scope of any project is defined in the written estimate signed by both parties before work begins.

We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our service area, scope of practice, or available capacity.

Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Pricing assumes site conditions match what was observed during the estimate visit. Material substitutions and scope changes may require a revised quote.

Estimates are not binding until accepted in writing by both parties.

A deposit may be required to schedule work, with the balance due on completion. Specific payment terms are set out in the project quote.

We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cheque. All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable HST.

We warrant our workmanship for 24 months from the date of project completion. The warranty covers finish, adhesion, and workmanship defects under normal residential use.

The warranty does not cover damage from settling, water intrusion, abuse, or work performed by others after project completion. Material manufacturer warranties apply separately and are governed by their own terms.

Projects can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur charges for materials purchased and crew time committed.

We carry general liability and workers compensation insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the contracted work and excludes incidental or consequential damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
